I also enjoyed How It Went Down though it was so difficult to read while the events in Ferguson were unfolding. It's interesting that so many of my favorite titles involved poetry. I love that there were so many books written this year with poetry. I'm looking forward to reading Pointe, Taking Flight, Madman, and Octobia May.
